The hard part is getting the pieces to be as clean looking as you wish. The best way to have them look brand new is to take them to a professional launderer. But it isn’t cheap.

It’s possible, but knits are a bit tricky to iron. Have you tried a wrinkle release product that you spray on, then stretch the fabric a bit and hang to dry? I find they work well.
