Won’t do it this year. Trick or treaters have steadily declined on my block for several years now. Last year, the doorbell rang twice. This year, we’ll join the rest of the block with lights out as though we’re dead.

I’ve lived in my house for 25 years & I’ve only ever had 1 t or t. She was a cute little thing & she braved her way past a 100 pound black lab that was taller than she was to get to the doorbell. I decided she wanted that candy real bad, so I gave her 6 pieces!!! Since then, I only buy candy that I like because I’m the only one eating it!!!

Costumes for a few days will have to be enough this year.

I just cannibalize them. Pumpkin pie is mighty fine. Can’t beat it with a stick.
