If you went to a restaurant at lunch time, and the host handed you a regular menu but not the lunch specials menu, would you think of that as deceptive?
Yesterday we were in NYC and we went to a restaurant for lunch. It was lunch time. The host handed us each a regular menu. When the waiter came over to see if we had any questions, I asked “do you have a lunch specials menu?” and he said “oh yes” and he brought it over. Obviously the prices on the lunch specials menu were much less than the regular menu.
I have had that happen previously, not at that restaurant (as yesterday was the first time we were ever there).
