Yes. I limit my news intake to keep my serenity.

Yes. This Hershal Walker stuff is insane.

@Dutchess_III I was just going to post about that. Republicans are giving Walker a pass, despite him paying for abortions. If you truly believe abortion is “baby murder”, you wouldn’t give him a pass. Which means they don’t really believe that and it’s just bluster.

I wish I didn’t care about politics because nothing good comes of having an interest in it for me other than frustration, despair, and disgust.

^He didn’t even admit to having 4 kids until recently. He’s a nut job.

Yes, I am only interested because a lot of the bullshit spills across the border and affects us one way or another.

It should be fairly obvious by now that Republicans are only interested in winning. WINNING has nothing to doing the right thing. To expect any difference is just plain delusional.

We should treat U.S. politics like we do ANYTHING that’s broken…fix it or get rid of it. We do ourselves no favor discussing politics like it’s business as usual. Hershal Walker is just an extreme example of the disease that increasingly threatens democracy as we’ve known it. The only thing worth discussing about politics at this point is what can be done to stop the bleeding.

Yep – - Fright wingers want to overthrow democracy !

It’s not just the abortion thing. Walker is stone cold stupid.

Queasy?

It’s been fear, loathing, and projectile vomiting for the last 15 years.

RayaHope's avatar

LOL! @JLoon well, I was being modest :)

JLoon's avatar

@RayaHope – As always ;)

If Hershel Walker can be a senator I should be president. Both are ridiculous.

Yes, US politics makes my queasy. It also make me frightened, mystified, and disgusted.

Nomore_Tantrums's avatar

What makes me queesy is the fact that so many people can’t see through the Republican bull shit for what it is. The Walker thing is proof enough that they really don’t give a rats ass about abortion one way or the other, it’s rhetoric to pander to the “Christian” Right. All they really care about is padding their own pockets, and those of their cronies. Only stupid people can’t see thru all of this crap. And there are a lot of them out there.
