So there was a period of time during the pandemic when my country became temporarily free of the virus and schools were opening again. My boss was having a hard time tracking students and parents because attendance wasn’t the same anymore. Lots of people left for financial reason or others and lots of new people came. So she printed a bunch of small pieces of paper. It was like a form with names, phone numbers and email. The idea was to give them out to teachers and the teachers would then give out to students so that they could fill in information and then give back to the center for registration. It was like we were making a student’s database all over again.
For some reason I possess a stack full of those papers. I don’t remember how, it was a long time ago, but maybe I was assigned some large classes and I was intending to give out to a large number of students.
And now the stack is still sitting on my shelf untouched. I want to throw them away, but I am keeping them in case they are needed again. It has been two years and my boss hasn’t mentioned the papers.
