I’m not sure if anyone here is familiar with needle felting, but every needle felt craft starts with a piece of wool. They are soft to the touch and can be torn up easily. They are easily blown away by the wind and they can even float in the air. But when you finish stabbing it into a shape, it is surprisingly hardy. It is really tough to the touch and it takes quite a few minutes for a scissor to slide a small part of it. It’s as if it has turned from wool to rock.

I consider it a marvelous absurdity just from the mystery of the transformation.

After getting into an argument with my dad, as a child over a unfinished McDonald’s chocolate milkshake, I stopped eating his favorite foods as a protest. Onions, olives, chocolate dinks, white chicken meat, cranberries , and crispy crunch chocolate bars.
The absurd part is that I never told anyone, and my dad died of kidney failure on November 5th, 2022.
