“Great Question” (3points)

I’m constantly sabotaging myself and portraying a image that I don’t like. I’m 30 years old and I often feel like I’m perceived as a child and weak leaving me hating myself and feeling like a bitch well being thought of as a bitch. Most things don’t even bother me that much but I always end up portraying that image

You need to seek professional advice and I so hope that you get it soon. You only have one life and you need to start living the best life you can. I am going to start going back to my therapist next week because I have had some issues lately that I need to address and I’m only 17.

I have long embraced the lifestyle of Self-loathing. You can do this without feeling you are weak.

You don’t need to be strong to be happy. If you really need to be strong you will need something meaningful to center your life around. Be glad that life hasn’t happened to you at this time. As sometimes trauma and loss can inspire you to a passion that guides your life.

My best guess is that you have lucked out on the pain side. When compared to every other 30 year old.

It probably makes sense for you t look at your history and the relationships that raised you with a therapist or counselor. There’s no real way that we can figure out why you have the self-image you do, that will take work on your part and a desire to change.

I’m an old gay man. I’ve been in therapy the majority of my adult life to rid myself of the garbage my Christian parents filled me with as a young person.

Therapy might surprise you. A therapist doesn’t give you a diagnosis and then the remedy the way a doctor does. With their skills, they guide you to uncover your issues on your own and then to also decide again on your own how to fix them. It’s very empowering.

I’m sorry you’re struggling. I did too for a very long time. Therapy helped me so much. I’m now really very happy and glad to be alive.

All the best.

Set some goals, sure, but give yourself a little less negativity and more positive actions/affirmations. Tell yourself every morning in the mirror that you are a kind human, worthy of love and respect.
Obviously you have some fire in you somewhere (weak bitch haha) so change things!

You have no self-esteem. You don’t like yourself.
Want to get better? Think “I CAN” instead of “I can’t.” Be positive!

^^ Obviously OP is having problems, but repeating a positive affirmation is your solution? That’s some 19th century advice.

Therapy of a kind. There are many counselors and clinical social workers that can help you start your journey to better mental health, and better achievement of your goals. It’s not always easy, and for it to work you have to take it seriously and make a routine of it, but mind maintenance is one of the most powerful tools out there for reordering your thinking and getting the most out of life.

I believe most people who do this are afraid of failure. So you use this as a crutch to not try or only half try.

Life is worth living when we give it our all. Even when you do a belly flop. Because eventually giving things your all with no excuses will lead to more successes than failures. You only fail if you fail yourself.

But keep in mind this is what I believe is the problem with most people who doubt themselves.

Now what caused this to be, is what you have to solve. You should get professional help to help you figure that out.

As a wise penguin stated, It has to do with the family life that you were raised in.
Know you are worthy. Seeking professional assistance can help you past this.
