Back on March 1st we stayed at a hotel near Disney. I told a hotel staff member through chat that we were coming to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Long story short, the hotel surprised us with balloons, a small box of chocolates, and a Happy Anniversary card signed by all of the staff members! I will keep that card forever! We loved it.
My husband had been reluctant about getting an Annual Pass at Disney, but he went along with it. I planned going on one of the new rides as our first ride, because I had a hunch he would really like it. I didn’t ride it because of my chance of triggering my vertigo, I just did the line with him, and then bailed right before boarding the cars. He came off of the ride smiling and said it was awesome! I was so happy.
Other very happy things happened during our two days at Disney: We had good food (I have low expectations in theme parks). The fireworks show in EPCOT was spectacular, that was another thing I was so happy about, because my husband liked them as much as I did. I road Soarin’, which is one of my favorite rides in the whole park. In Animal Kingdom we watched the Tough to be a Bug show and the little boy sitting near us was so funny. He was responding to all of the 3D stuff flying at him, and the show is very funny, he caught on to all of the jokes. We laughed and smiled during the whole show.
