For the first time in decades, I was excited about who won.

I didn’t love Everything Everywhere All at Once. By half way through, I was exhausted and ready for a break, but I’m old. Agatha Christie is enough excitement for me.

Still, I really wanted the movie to do well. I love the stories of the cast members. Ke Huy Quan’s story is right out of a movie. Jamie Lee Curtis has worked steadily for decades in horror almost exclusively. Michelle Yeoh is phenomenal.

I’m happy Brandon Fraser won. I didn’t see The Whale, but his comeback is a happy thing.
