I have solved 14 times in two guesses, 103 in three guesses, and 110 in four guesses. When I get it in three or four, it may take as long as 30 to 45 minutes to get the final answer.
I have no idea how long it takes, mostly I’m just glad to solve it, since I’m not in competition with anyone. I have three standard start words, so my most solved record os in four tries.
I’ve gotten it in two guesses a number of times. But I always play the same word for my first word, so it really just depends on luck in a way. But I’m not in it to break any time record. I usually finish it within 10 minutes if not a lot sooner, but I don’t rush because I would rather get it in less guesses then worry about the time I’m using to solve it. By the way, if you want a bit more of a challenge, Google Octordle.
@LifeQuestioner ^^^ On that, daughter likes to play something called Weaver. You basically have unlimited moves to change one word into another. They provide you the two words, you change one letter at a time, new word must be real word. Harder than it sounds.
