It is International Donor Conception Awareness Day. If you have donated eggs or sperm, or have a child conceived by donated genetic material, care to share your story?
I was able to conceive my child with donated sperm 35 years ago. There was a huge pushback against single women doing this, but I persisted and was fortunate.
It is still a problem for many (not just single women) who go this route, and there is still a stigma.
I’d love to hear others’ stories.
