For fun, can you think of movies that would plot totally different with the technology and conventions of today?

I watched “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” recently and it sparked this question. At one point, Tracy hits a car in a parking lot fairly badly and the owner yells, “This will cost me $30 or $40 to fix!” So Tracy gives him $50 to cover it. At another point, Tracy calls his secretary and asks her to call the library and ask them to research Dr Prentice, the character played by Poitier. No Googling! And I question whether today, the age disparity and the quickness of the romance would be more of an issue to the parents than the race.

I’ve often thought “An Affair to Remember” would have been totally changed if they could have just texted each other they were late!

What movies and changes can you cite?
