Why is it easier to eat bacon, in a bun, when compared to straight bacon?

Not for me.
Add lettuce, guacamole, and tomatoes, and you’ve got an LGBT sandwich!

I LOVE @filmfann‘s idea, but I don’t care for guac. I do love me a good bacon, lettuce, & tomato every now & then. I make those on regular bread not a bun. Most of the time, I prefer my bacon straight & crispy. For some reason a bun sounds like too much bread for my liking so I’d probably prefer a double order of crispy bacon!!!

Must be you. Bacon on a bun – sounds bland. Needs something more.

Each batch of bacon is cut differently and cooks up differently. Some cook crisper and some not, at the same temperature and length of time. As a result, there are differences in the eating experience.
