Will the insurance company for the cargo ship Dali that damaged the Baltimore bridge be paying for the salvage operation and rebuild?
There’s a lot of talk about the huge cleanup and salvage operation that is being done for the bridge destroyed by the cargo ship Dali, in Baltimore.
Is the cost for that going to be charged back to the insurance company for the cargo ship Dali?

Biden promised $60 million in aid. The catch is that congress has to approve it too.
Let’s see what comes of the investigation of what occured before speculating.

Today’s WSJ says that there is network of international insurers that are the first in line to pay for the bridge and associated damages. So my guess is that the bridge will be built, prob with government money, and the insurers will reimburse.
My question: Were the workers on the bridge singing show tunes as the boat was coming their way? You know – Hello, Dali, yes Hello Dali…
@elbanditoroso while I appreciate bad puns, I just cannot find the humor in this right now as those workers lost their lives. Most of them have wives and children.
