I honestly can’t think of a gripe at the moment.

My husband died 17 years ago. Learn to enjoy what irks you because you’ll miss it when he’s gone!!! You might catch yourself turning it on just for the memories of better days!!!

Many of the newer TVs have a way to connect a headset, so you might suggest he use a headset with the shows that irritate you. That way he can enjoy his show & you won’t need to hear it.

He’s ADHD and trashes every space upon arrival with various junk, projects, etc.. I love the man but he also watches a lot of podcasts I don“t enjoy so I go to the gym or bedroom and leave him to it.
I kinda like the gladiator stuff, too, but for me it’s admiration for their fitness more than violence.

Sounds like an opportunity for an adult discussion. Better to talk about it than seethe underneath.

About 50 percent of the time he will say he’s not hungry when I ask him if he wants something to eat because I am about to make myself something to eat. So I figure kill two birds with one stone. He waits till I sit down to say he’s hungry. He doesn’t expect me to get up during my meal to make him something but it still annoys me because I feel I can’t kick back and take my time with my meal. I have acid reflux so the more relaxed I am during my meals the less likely I will suffer indigestion or reflux. After eating I don’t like to do anything for at least an hour. But as was pointed out above, these are the things we will think was nothing when they pass. My husband recently gave me a reality check on that by having a heart attack and is still recovering. So although my stomach doesn’t appreciate the interruption, I’m grateful that he’s around to interrupt and getting stronger every day.

My wife is a slob. Not dirty, but she leaves clothes everywhere, never tightens caps/tops on anything, papers piled high on her desk, has never replaced a toilet paper or paper towel roll, and so on. It’s like living with a frat boy.

Meanwhile, I love to clean and hang my clothes by color and style.

@filmfann I have trouble with ziploc, I buy old fashioned twist tie bags (much cheaper by the way) and it is not unheard of to find ziploc bags with chip clips on them, because I could not seal the bag well.

@Pandora My husband is horrible regarding hunger. I have similar scenarios to yours in my house, and other situations where he says he is not hungry, but I can tell by how he is treating me that he is. He denies that being hungry affects his mood, but believe me it does.

My wife is human, like me. And that’s infuriating.

My wife interrupting me in the middle of my sentences, usually irrelevant to the point I was attempting to make.

No spouse, no SO. But the biggest issue in past was her selfishness.

I thought of something. He has lots of political opinions but he doesn’t vote. It’s even more frustrating now since we live in a swing state and I know which way he’d vote. :(
