The Rogue Angel series. It’s totally ridiculous but also gripping and fun. Oh, heck, I can give no excuse! It’s brain candy through and through, but I love that kind of thing!

I just read The NeverEnding Story and Sorcery and Cecelia , and they were both too good to put down. I read almost all of S&C in one sitting, and once you get to the last third of NeverEnding Story, you won’t get anything done until you finish it – it’s just too exciting to stop reading!
The Twilight series, because I hated it but was determined to get through it.
The last book I couldn’t put down because I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen was Lost Boys by Orson Scott Card and I wound up disappointed in the end.
@MacBean – it’s been a long time since I read Lost Boys, but I felt the same way – couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen, and then the end just sort of flopped. Made me sad, because OSC’s books usually end so much better than that…
Brsingr by Christopher Paolini because it was the “last” book to the Eragon series (only not, because he was foolish and made it into a quadrilogy instead of a trilogy, like he had planned.). SOOO sad!!! :-(
Also, a great series is the Molly Moon series. It’s more for tweens, but it’s still good! I read it and the story was really entertaining and fun.
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. I read it last night. I had no idea it would be as engaging as it was. I mean, I love Neil Gaiman, but I think over time I forget what it is like to read his books for the first time.
