Your ISP may be throttling BT traffic or blocking the ports BT uses.

If that’s the case, how would I fix that? Or even if it isn’t the case, how do I check if that’s true or not?

Try grabbing something from http://eztv.it/frontpage.php and see if that works. If none of those work something else is going on.

Is a port forwarded from your router? This can slow your torrenting down to a crawl.

I just tried to download an episode of “The Big Bang Theory” from that site JP. It’s already saying “Tracker Offline (Timed Out)” and it’s 0(0) under seeds and 0(0) under peers, no clue what that means though. Sorry, I’m new at uTorrent :P

@blastfamy, I’m not too tech savvy, so I’m not 100% sure on what you mean by “fowarded from” but my router is also connected (through wifi) to my sisters laptop. (It’s wired to my Xbox too, but I don’t think that should make a difference when my xbox isn’t running)

Is your firewall blocking incoming/outgoing connections?

If your isp is blocking bt, you can try enabling encryption (RC4), which may work. Not sure how it works in uTorrent, though. I use Azureus (the good version before they put that vuze crap on it.)

My sister used it before, but I don’t think she used uTorrents. It was on the same computer, and it worked. Now it won’t work for me.

It’s a d-link router. And I’m not 100% sure on what my sister used, but I think it was Azureus.

Ok, do you know how to login to the router and forward a port? And what port are you using to download your torrents?
