the news has always depressed me.

I have a hard time watching/reading/listening to the news because of that reason. I have my own ways of keeping up with things, mostly just searching spefic topics and searching in a way that will direct me to a specific site or article. Anyways, I am aware there are a lot of horrible things that go on in the world, but I rather not have it start off my day on a daily basis. Instead I just live the best way I can.

The one thing that depresses me most, is that I look at the four candidates for the nation’s two highest offices, and I ask myself, very seriously, “Is THIS the BEST we can do, out of 300 million people?”

The thing that depresses me is my -28% year to date change in my 401K plan. At least I am still young.

Yes. But only because I’ve been talking about it for 2 years and no one has listened. And also because Ron Paul has warned about the Federal Reserve and no one listened.

@Jackadams sad but very true.

Yeah but if somebody would have told me 2 years ago that 5% of the mortgages in the US were going to default and that would cause this amazing crisis I wouldn’t have listened either.

What news are you talking about? News in general? Or just political news?
