What is the name of that epic piano music?

“Great Question” (0points)

I don’t know how to concisely describe the song, but I’ll give it a shot:

I think it plays at the end of old school – when the frat. is winning their challenges.

The opening is of triplets, followed by two half notes.

The song is usually played in movies during scenes where something “hard” is being done.

The song is kind of slow.

If anybody has any questions, that I could better describe the song, feel free to ask.

Classical, pop? Major or minor key; old war horse or obscure? Can you describe it in Solfège?

My bet is Chariots of Fire, as shadling21 said.

This is the one (charriots of fire). Thanks a bunch.

It was not just a piano. It was a synthesizer. Vangelis’ score was something of a first: electronic music for a period film.

That was a good description.

@fireside – Indeed it was! As soon as I read the question, I heard the music in my head. I checked, and sure enough, it was listed on IMDB as being in the movie.
