Does anyone know of open-source software for modeling physics?

Specifically, I’m interested in a Python framework that can handle Simple Harmonic Motion in multiple dimensions. I’m also willing to look at C, if a good package is known.

I’m already aware of Visual Python.

Yes. Theres quite a lot, actually.

Open Source Physics is a pretty good one. You can download it from here:
