Can any Christians, ex-Christians, or Bible geeks help me out?

“Great Question” (0points)

I’m writing a story in which the main character adheres to different religions at different times in her life, including a branch of Christianity. However, as I am agnostic, I don’t know a huge amount about the Christian Bible. Can anyone suggest one or more good Christian Bible verses that has/have a sort of “it’s all part of God’s plan” meaning?

I will be super appreciative if you can!

The kind of default verse for this is Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
(King James Bible, Ecclesiastes)

Or

3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
(King James Bible, Ecclesiastes)

Jeremiah 29:11–14
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity. [a] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

in my opinion the bible verse that really sums up his purpose is Jonh 3:16. This is why. Through sin man was seperated from God. The purpose of Christ was to reconcile man to God through his crucifixion. In the old testament they would sacrifice lambs. Pure white lambs. Christ was the sacrificial lamb. It shows how much God loves his created human that he gave his only son as that lamb to cleanse thier sins. That sums up Christianity and Gods meaning and I don’t think anyone can delve into Christianity on any level without that being at thier core.

Find cross references for Romans 8:28. That’s an awesome verse!

Heres another one for ya!
Ephesians 2:10
“For we are His workmanship (poema in the greek, that is, a work of art) created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
This one is a life verse for me: “Being confident in this very thing, that He that has begun that good work in you, shall complete it til the Day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
