I’m undecided, but leaning toward cremation. I mean, I like the idea of having a grave because there’s something absolutely beautiful and peaceful about certain graveyards to me. And I do like the idea that, in a way, anyone who comes to visit you can be right there with whatever of you is left.
But cremation is the more responsible route to take. That, and if people want to divide me up and share me, it’s completely possible. There would be no worries about someone moving to a different state and not being able to visit a grave because I could move with them. Pretty much, I want everyone to be happy. I know some people would scatter me places that I enjoyed during life or places they thought I might enjoy, I know others would hang on to me. All of it’s okay with me, as long as they do what makes them happiest. There are actually even little metal lockets that are made now, with someone’s ashes sealed on the inside, which I think is a very neat idea.
