I have no problem admitting to my musical diversity. There’s room for Slipknot AND Jim Croce, Eminem AND Culture Club, The White Stripes AND the Dixie Chicks, AC/DC AND Hank Williams in my collection. Good music is good music.
Hmm…maybe Alvin and the Chipmunks (old school), specifically this song. I pretend to be annoyed when they turn up in the rotation and say “turn this crap off” but am secretly rocking out.
I secretly liked that MmmBop song by those brothers ranging in age from 4 to 8. I am very open about my love for Men Without Hats and their tour de force single Safety Dance.
Every now and then I surprise myself by not disliking a country tune that crosses my path. Not pretending—just general avoidance of the genre. I can get interested in almost any kind of music long enough to ask a fan what makes it good, even if I wouldn’t listen to it all the time.
Definitely Fall Out Boy. I also listen to Nsync and the Backstreet Boys. Any sappy pop and r&b. Hip-pop(really commercial rap), ringtone rap, and last but not least T-Pain.
I have to agree with dale and gail on this one. I’m not ashamed of the things that I enjoy. That said, I tend to like a little bit of everything. My musical tastes range from some Backstreet Boys to Marilyn Manson, to everything in between. If it makes you feel good, don’t be ashamed of it.
Okay, you guys convinced me, free at last! I’m out, I’m proud and I will never be ashamed of my musical preferences again! walks off singing, “Never gonna give you up, Never gonna let you down, Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you…”
