that’s quite a list… but strangely none of them got me hot…

I fall for the hot women but not the “hot words”. If the hot women say “hot words” to me, that just makes the whole experience that much better and gets me all the more excited.

I think the first time or two you hear such things, you do pay attention. When they are as over- and mis-used as they are, they lose their power.

Hardly. First of all, I rarely watch TV at all and secondly, if it’s on I don’t pay any attention to it at all unless the show I’m watching is on (and sometimes not even then).

Don’t you just love those nightly news promos-“Tonight at 11,the sky is falling. How will it affect YOUR family” And it turns out that it will be raining tomorrow and they remind you to bring your umbrella to work

Or “Next at 5 a wedding party killed in traffic accident” which turns out to be in India.

I must respond to different “hot words”. I react more to things like “beer”, “free”, “party”, and “get down, boogie, oogie, oogie”.

I initially read ”Hot For Words”. I think I need a break from Youtube.

I have never noticed what I do in response to these words. I probably do pay more attention when I hear some of them (though the word “forefathers” just makes me yawn). Who decided these were “hot words”?

“Meltdown” seems to get my attention every time.

“President-elect” is working really well on me right now.

nope, I got very desensitized as the leaving administration for years now has made every speech by putting each of these words on a snippet of paper, putting it in a hat, shaken it twice and spilled it on a desk.

Voila, here’s your new speech on xyz Mr. President.

No. Sometimes I groan.

I actually don’t watch the the news, they never have anything good to say. But I will admit that if the news is on I will pay attention much to my chagrin, if something I should be notified about is infact destructive or terrible. I do not perk up.
