Also which ones do you use? I find they are very convenient so I’ve added 5 of them so far on my browser’s toolbar. In their own folder of course. ^^

The ones I use at the moment are:
* tumblr – post about page/item on my blog
* ma.gnolia – add bookmark on ma.gnolia
* bit.ly – shrink URL
* twine – add page/item on twine
* wishlistr – add item to my wishlist

Explanation of bookmarklets.

None. I used to use a bookmarklet to open the current page in CSS Edit, but didn’t use it much and deleted it.

The one I use most is named “English”, and just uses Google’s language tools to translate the current page to English. I use that one quite often, and keep it in my bookmarks toolbar.

Another, which I call “Zap Autocomplete=Off”, removes autocomplete attributes from form & submit tags on the page, so that my browser will offer to remember the username/password for me on sites where it otherwise wouldn’t. I use that one once a month or so.

I have another dozen or so in my menu, most of which are related to web development; they do things like remove CSS, show hidden fields, turn table borders on, etc. I don’t use them much any more, because the Firebug and the Web Developer extensions have made them superfluous.

I use 4 bookmarklets :

— Share on Friendfeed.com
— Post to del.icio.us
— Post to Snipd.com
— Open the page with Lingro.com

I have a folder of them on my Bookmarks Bar, mostly just things like running a webpage through the W3C HTML validator, I have one that adds my bookmarks to Diigo and Transferr, and one for making a TinyURL. I also use one for YouTube videos with this app called ‘tubesock’, which has a little bookmarklet of it’s own.

They’re actually quite easy to make, I made the one for Transferr in a very small amount of time by basing it off the Del.icio.us bookmarklet. If you find one you like, have a go at tweaking it by copying the code from the URL bar into a text editor and going to town on that!
