Check this out. I want to put the Google folder below the Videos folder, but when I click and drag it, it goes into the Videos folder and not below it and it ends up looking like this! It is very frustrating because I keep inching the folder as close as possible so that it won’t go into the other folder, but my efforts always fail.

They are ordered alphabetically by name, so the only way to do this is to drag the “Google” folder out of the “Video” folder, then rename the “Video” folder ” Video” (yes, with a space at the beginning of the name).

Actually they’re not alphabetical – you can organize them as you like. When you drag, make sure you’re dragging to the left-hand edge of the frame, not the right. See this – dragging “Music” to be below “New York”.
