One of the biggest hangover culprits is dehydration. Drink a few cups of water before and after sleep. I have never taken those pills but the skeptic in me says they don’t work, or else people would be getting smashed every night and that company’s shares would be worth hundreds. But on an evaluation of the Alcohol-X page, I now consider it to be plausible. I visited that Alcohol-X site (after turning off my speakers, ugh), and was reading their ‘how it works’ page, their explanation of what causes hangovers does appear to be sound. Cross referencing some of the info turned up this disulfiram drug, which works by delaying the Acetaldehyde conversion, thus prolonging sickness (the drug is meant for alcoholics trying to quit, almost an insta-hangover pill, so this does make sense)., so speeding up the conversion as these pills proclaim to do would logically result in less hangover indeed. I very rarely get hangovers so I am not running out to get a bottle of this stuff, but I would consider buying it in the future if I was gonna have an all-out party.
