I love shoes… but oddly enough, I prefer to me barefoot! My closet is overflowing, and yet I still feel that I don’t have enough.
My beau and I each ordered a pair of custom moccasins from CatskillMoccasins.com and I can’t wait for them to come in! I really can’t afford them, so mine are fairly low and plain; but my beau ordered the full height with some elaborate trim. Once we tried on a sample pair, we couldn’t say no! They are better than bare feet!
I just like having a lot of shoes to choose from. I have shoes that cost $5 and shoes that cost a few hundred dollars. I’m more of a shoe fan than a shoe diva.
My ex husband used to show people my shoe closet because I had so many shoes. So yes, I’m a shoe diva. What is stupid about it though, is I usually wear the same 3 or 4 pair most of the time.
I’m with tinyfaery on this one. I’m definitely more of a shoe fan than a shoe diva. :) I would probably have a ridiculous amount of shoes if I had the money and room, but cost doesn’t matter so much to me. I have a hard time imagining myself paying hundreds of dollars for shoes. Boots, I can see. Because if they’re a couple hundred they’re usually much better quality. But anything more than that and I just don’t think I could justify spending that much money on shoes.
I’m a guy also and I wouldn’t call myself a shoe diva but I do have 2 pairs of all the Jordans. Perhaps I’m a collector or crazy or something but not diva
I am most definitely a shoe diva/fan. I run the gamut from flip flops to farragamo…I love them all. I believe it’s impossible to have too many shoes or purses.
I’m definitely a shoe diva…I have a plentiful collection, and I’m always looking for more, yet I still have those days when I feel like there isn’t a single shoe that will go with what I’m wearing.
Ummm, Zappos gave me a personal shopper who emails daily. One of our local shoe boutiques delivers about 6 pairs of shoes per week for me to try. I don’t know if I classify as a diva, however, as I don’t collect shoes. I wear most of them for a season and then donate them to a resale shop that caters to the well-to-do but is a not-for-profit that funds woman’s shelters.
Your feet can STILL change in adulthood. Like many women, my feet changed size when I went through pregnancy… from a 6.5–7 to a 7.5–8. My feet also used to be narrow, but now are average because I’m overweight.
For nostalgic purposes, I have saved the spike heeled sandals that I couldn’t believe my mother let me get for 8th grade graduation; and a pair if high heeled clogs that I loved when I was in the 10th grade.
OK, yes, I am a Shoe Diva. Well, a trainers diva, anyway (I only wear vintage Adidas and Pumas). As for other kinds of shoes, I’ll be damned if I get a cheaply-made pair. Shoes need to last me, I’m not made of money. Expensive shoes /= well-made, either. I have a limited number of non-trainer shoes and boots because I’m so picky. I’m willing to pay for a good pair of shoes because they are a bargain when pro-rated of their wearing life.
