Thanks for the link. It shines a lot of light on the conservative stance. However, I doubt the research that went into that article beause it seems very biased and it even quotes wikipedia.

I have been loosely following the politics there myself and my impression is that there was a “No Confidence Vote” declared recently on the current prime minister, due to his stance and actions on key issues which both of the opposing parties (and apparently most of the country) clearly showed opposing views. Because he has not become prime minister by a majority vote to begin with, the other two parties can “gang up” on him and submit a “no confidence” declaration, which binds his hands and literally means he cannot do his job until someone else takes his place.
