I’ve been to busy with exams to pay much attention, and now it seems like I’ve been living under a rock. I’ve heard many vague, biased answers about what is going on. What I want are the basics of what is going on.

I am Canadian, and I feel like this has a great impact on my life. I’ve done some research just now, but people are only talking about what’s going on now, not how it started. It’s like walking into a movie halfway through and you’re so confused.
