Shrimp Puffs
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, softened
1 can (4 ½ oz.) deveined shrimp, drained
dash garlic powder
dash pepper
1 package party rolls (I use Sara Lee)
Beat cream cheese and butter together until blended. Mix in drained shrimp. Split each roll in half and spread with mixture. Bake open faced at 325 degress for 20 minutes.
The Sara Lee rolls come in a small foil tray, and are about the size of a silver dollar. They’re flat and flaky. The Sara Lee rolls can be split as a whole sheet and then separated into individual portions after baked. This makes spreading the shrimp mixture much easier.
