Is there a specific number of pull-ups / chin-ups in Navy Seals training?

They probably do many workouts until muscle failure. 60 pullups is a lot. It took me at least 6 months to get over 30, and that’s barely making it.

It was 20 dead-hangs when I was a Marine many pounds ago.

50 in some special opps schools. Depending on what you do. 60 is a lot but then again the seals are a little crazy and that’s not a compliment towards them. It was 40 for me if I remember correctly.

I once did 150 combined pull-ups(palm forward) and chin-ups(palm facing you) but it was spread throughout about an hour. And the latter ones were half-assed, non full extensions and some knee ups to help my upper body.
Was surprised that they did 60 non-stop! That’s something I should train for when I get off this slump.
