How about something meaningful to her and her partner?

Bluefreedom's avatar

Your friend is actually going to consider a name for her baby from possible recommendations that came from the website Fluther? I’d go with what PupnTaco said above.

emilyrose's avatar

Just for kicks she asked me to ask….. maybe some of you will have good ideas!

emilyrose's avatar

Maybe she will just name the baby “Fluther Jellyfish McFlutherstein”

Bluefreedom's avatar

Okay, I was just wondering. There will probably be some good names offered. There is a lot of smart people here.

I love the name Carson, and it’s good for a boy or a girl…but that might just be me. =)

Pete.

arnbev959's avatar

or how about Gray? That’s an original name.

My mother’s name is Julia. I’ve always thought it was a beautiful name. I also think Robert is a good name. What nationality is your friend? Depending on where she/her partner/either of their parents are from, she could have some great names available.

Sarah or Daniel.

She should pick an name that would look good on letterhead. Like a traditional name. You can always come up with a fun nickname.

i also love the name Micsha (mischa barton, i love her name although its really a guy name for michael but its soo pretty)
she should name her baby something meaningful for her and her husband though.

I do a lot of genealogy, I’ve always envied people who have good sounding family surnames as middle names. It’s a good way to link to past generations.

Pete: I knew a kid named Grey.
His last name was Wolfe.
His parents were trying way to hard.

For a boy I’ve always like the names Joshua (don’t shorten it to Josh), Harrison, and Cayden.

For girls I love Chloe, Olivia, and Mia. I also like Celia—it’s French.

However, most of those are family names, so…

Let us know what she decides!

I vote for Harrison or Chloe.

But there’s always my grandmother’s name:
Marion Lucrecia

Or my father in law’s name:
Herman Hector

Morgan. It works either way and I think it’s nice. If it is a girl, you can prettify it even more by using Morgana.

I am going to name my future daughters Theodora and Benjamine, and if I have boys I love the names Oliver and Sawyer!

Shoshana (for a girl).

Or President or Doctor…then you wouldn’t have to run for office or go to school.

AstroChuck's avatar

Fetux if it’s a boy.
Embria if it’s girl.

PupnTaco's avatar

@pete: oh I sure do mind. No one barfs in my car!

@chyna: cheap lurve-whoring, but it worked

augustlan's avatar

Andrew or Ben, of course ; )

KatawaGrey's avatar

@chuck: My boyfriend’s roommate is named Fetus, no joke. It’s his legal name, it’s spelled the same and his parents are American. (I thought maybe they spoke a different language and Fetus meant something).

Nimis's avatar

Bendrew Flutherificus.
That’s a winner for sure.

AstroChuck's avatar

Why not Andjamin Flutherificus?

Nimis's avatar

Well, if they’re twins she’s got it covered.
