Ok, so virus’s are one of my well known specialties. I haven’t gotten a virus since I learned how to deal with them 6 years ago.. So here’s what you do. Trojans are very well known for latching onto your registry files, and your system 32, and don’t pop out and start damage till they are triggered by something. That something could be anything from clicking on a link on google, or clicking on a link on your destop. So your going to want to boot your computer into safe mode so the virus isn’t active. Turn off your computer and then turn it back on and hold down F8 till you hear a beep or till it boots you into a screen that reads safe mode, safe mode with networking, and safe mod with command prompt. Your going to want arrow down to safe mode with networking. When your computer finally boots up. Your going to want to go into your browser, and go to Malwarebytes Install it, when installed allow the program to update. Then when the program opens, run a quick scan. Allow the program to go through your computer and remove the virus’s. After it has finished getting rid of them. We are then going to highlight the bold print that follows this sentence, and copy it. Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features Then paste the bold print into your search bar located in your start menu. If you have xp or below you can simply click on the search button located in the start menu, and do the same.
When you have gotten to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features your going to want to find and uninstall mcafee. It’s a terrible virus protection program, and you will have more trojans in the future if you continue to use it. I have had to remove so many trojans on so many customers computers due to mcafee’s lack of protection. After removing the junk, we are going to go back into our browser. and we are going to install Microsoft Security Essentials If you do not have windows vista, or windows 7, then we are going to use Avast Let them install and viola! You are protected from future trojans. Just remember to keep the virus programs up to date for maximum protection. After completing the setup, shutdown your computer, and allow it to boot normally. Hope this helped! :)
