What were some popular slang terms from your generation?
And what area did you live in?
State your age if you please.
I’m 20 (A WEEK FROM TOMORROW! YAY) and when I lived in north central Florida I seem to remember the term “de-bo” being popular… that was in middle school. It meant to steal, but people said it all the time in a very irritating way.
Then in high school when I lived in northern Texas everything was “like a mug.” e.g. “It’s cold like a mug, it hurt like a mug, she was crying like a mug”
What about certain words? Were things “cool” or were they “narly”? One I’ve noticed people saying is “That’s real.” And to “keep it real.”
