If you received a ham slice, a cross-cut section from a smoked or cured ham, less than an inch to an inch and a half thick, then you could broil it as buster suggested.
In that case, I like to make a glaze of honey and lime juice, even sometimes using “Roses Lime Juice” that is usually used in cocktails and spreading it very thinly across the slice as it goes under the broiler.
Or soy sauce and honey (just a little cause the ham is salty too).
Give it no more than 5 under the broiler, flip it if you want but be prepared for a messy broiler pan if you do so.
The crust tastes great.
