My mother-in-law will be here shortly. She lives alone, but is never lonely.
My 93-year-old grandfather will be at a Christmas celebration we will attend later today. He lives in an assissted living facility, so technically not alone, but lonely sometimes because my grandmother is in a more intensive care setting.
Later today my husband (instead of attending the aforementioned Dysfunctionpalloza) will bring a plate over to friend who’s alone for the holidays for the first time in 20+ years simply because of unfortunate relationship endings.
Great question! Makes me ever more grateful for my wonderous blessings.
