The only real similarity between Google and Fluther are that both are websites accessible through the Internet.
Fluther is an independent community run by two people, where you can register to answer other people’s questions in a forum-style discussion. The only thing inside of Fluther are questions and answers provided by members, as such almost all of the answers are unique.
Google is an index of every website its spiders have visited and added to their database. You do not need to be registered to use it, in fact even if you are registered, you cannot affect the results Google displays other than by using a different search term or operators (such as quotes to search for an exact term, or using the minus sign to remove pages from the result set that have a certain word or phrase). Google does not provide any of the content you see, it merely links to it.
