Why i cannot send a file from my cell phone to my macbook through bluetooth?

everything is in discoverable mode, and i can send fron the macbook to my cell phone, just not from the cell to the macbook! i have a sony ericsson w580i if it helps…

I have just tried this with my W880i and Macbook and can send music and video files without issue. Are you even getting the dialogue box before the transfer starts?
