It’s normal to feel a bit tired after a that excitement. You just had a huge adreneline rush and a major amount of stress go grab your pillow and get some zzzz’s. First put your daughter to bed though! :-)
Totally, totally. You get this huge adrenaline rush (especially when you are frightened for your child). Afterward, you are left with a chemical hangover.
Be kind to yourself. Chamomile? A hot bath. (The latter can actually allow your body to release some of the toxins.)
Well I’m sending good vibes to you and your daughter…
It is a shock when your kids give you scares, and it sure does make the old heart pump faster..
I wish you well…
Oh and vinegar and brown paper…
But yes, it’s perfectly normal to feel tired. You’re body is trying to level out the Adrenaline and Norepinephrine released during the event. Sleep helps the neurotransmitter reuptake, thus your body wants to sleep to get the transmitters out of the synaptic clefts back to where they are stored.
