That’s because the sentence’s meaning is very apparent to me and many others. “Watch your eyes” doesn’t mean literally watch your eyes, it means “pay attention to your eyes to avoid a sudden shock”. You’d be amazed how many words have multiple meanings. That’s why I love looking words up in dictionaries.
