What should I pay off first?
I have decided that even though I haven’t really suffered from the current economic situation, I am going to try really hard to get all of my debt paid off. I would like to know if it is better to pay off my credit cards or my car first. I owe roughly the same amount for all of my credit cards as I do for the car (around $4,000). I do have student loans, but that amount is significantly larger and it’s going to take me a long time them off so I am not worried about this debt. I’m currently using the snowball method to pay the credit cards and it has worked incredibly well for me, but I just realized that my car probably isn’t worth that much more that I owe on it.
