This is definitely the kind of advice that ought to come from her doctor. Flutherers who mean well but don’t know her or her case shouldn’t be advising her.
The general opinion in c-sections is to wait 8 weeks before starting to work out, lift heavy things, etc. That said, each case is different and your doctor should be the one that gives approval.
I say that your doctor needs to give approval because after my c-section, she had to give me a pelvic exam to make sure that everything was ok inside of me…so definitely have her see her doctor first.
If she had the baby four months ago, her doctor probably has given her the go ahead already. It was 8 weeks for me also, but as everyone else has mentioned, everybody is different. Doctor’s approval is a must after any surgery.
In most cases yes, though each case is different and she should certainly ask her doctor. Recovery usually takes a couple of months, but in some cases could take a lot more.
