I only know of one Robert Greene – Elizabethan playwright and contemporary of Shakespeare and Marlowe. And I would hesitate to call him a writer of books.

If you’re speaking of another writer my answer is no. Best of luck.

No this Ribert Greene writes books of gaining power though manipulation and other pyscological aspects. His books are. The 43 laws of power, the art of suduction, and another about war

Sounds Machiavellian. In fact Machiavelli wrote on those very subjects, including the Art of War. Perhaps your Robert is a disciple.

@Standswithacane – Apparently, yes, he is:

“Greene blogs on PowerSeductionandWar.com where he writes about themes from his books and current events. He has criticized the strategy of public figures including Michael Moore, Bill O’Reilly and Vladimir Putin. On the blog, Robert has written about some of his influences, including Machiavelli who he said that he rereads once a year and John Boyd, whose philosophy he felt fit in these “ruthless times.” ”

@Darwin Wow, there it is. Machiavellian principles wrapped up in a 21st century presentation. I may read up on Mr. Greene, the ambitious manipulator and seducer.

@Standswithacane – I don’t know a lot of details about his background other than he has a degree in classical studies, but he certainly seems to be a well-read person and makes a lot of friends in the world of rap.
