What do I do with the installation icons?

You know when you download something it puts an icon on your desktop that you then have to double click in order to actually install the whatever you are installing…what do you do with that icon after you install what you want? Delete it? Put it in some other folder?? Thanks for your help.

I put it in the trash (mac) or delete if on a pc.

Once you’ve done the installation, you don’t need them anymore. Save some space and just delete them.

If you find that icon useful to open some application, keep it. Otherwise delete it.
You can always find the actual application from your start menu.
