Something seasonal….Try Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland. Google for directions. It is a place we go every fall. It feels like fall there with all the pumpkins, best Apple French Pie, free hayride to the pumpkin patch and apple orchards, petting zoo, and all the works. It is something we look forward to each fall.
and check out Old Sacramento. At night time, it is beautiful. They have a horse drawn carriage. (we haven’t experienced it yet) but looks like fun.
They have a lot of restaurants on J street in downtown. McKinney park (off business 80 hwy) have a huge duck pond. Nice to stroll around.
Roseville’s Galleria Mall is fun to stroll around…and across the street is a restaurant called P.F. Changs. Great chinese food. Or try Mikyuki (spell?) Japanese..it is off Eureka Rd. in Roseville. Best Japanese food, try their Fair Oaks Roll. Or Melting Pot in Rocklin.
Just ideas. Be happy to give you more ideas. We live about 30 miles from downtown Sacramento.
Have fun!
