What key is Aaron Copland's "Billy the Kid" introduction in?

I’m referring specifically to the key of “The Open Prairie” (and any variations therein); I can’t seem to find info on this online.

I’m not familiar with “Billy the Kid,” but I’ll point out here that it may not actually be “in a key”—Copland experimented with a lot of pretty-sounding atonal and set-theoretic music, and with nonfunctional harmony.

Billy the Kid is certainly from his functional-harmony days.
