Hand Drawn – Beauty and the Beast – Best most complete marriage of story, Character and song
Computer – Anything by Pixar WAY above anything else but the best of all in my mind is Monsters. Technically and conceptually brilliant. Monsters are scaring kids to get screams, but they are terrified of them because they think kids are deadly. Genius.
Ice Age (the first one) and The Iron Giant
I just saw Coraline this afternoon, must say it was very impressive
It reminded me a lot of Tim Burton’s work
Alice in Wonderland
Finding Nemo (though my work is making me hate this movie. “mommy mommy look at all the nemos!!! Whats worse is when i am talking to adults and they tell me they have a nemo fish in their tank -_ -)
Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Ratatouille
(anything done by Pixar is automaticly awesome.)
@Blondesjon Interesting selections. The Wall left me depressed for days. And I don’t really remember Heavy Metal, I think I was in a chemically altered state when I saw that.
@forestGeek – Number one for stop motion. No doubt.
@ blondsjohn – I thought The Wall and Heavy Metal were good but only great in the “your supposed to like them this much because your in college” great.
