Probably only around 90
1986 Toyota Corolla

Almost. I wanted to see how fast the car would go. Usually 34B was deserted. There’s a big dip down into Ludloweville and then up the hill to a straightaway. I managed to get to 80 going up the hill, and the pedal was to the metal, as they say, and climbing, and along comes this state trooper going the other way. He turns around and I see him and his lights perhaps a quarter mile back. I’m almost home, so I take the corner as fast as I dare, and speed down the hill. There’s a Y intersection, and I’m trying to decide whether to go left or right. Right is away from home, left is towards home. If I can park there before he gets here, he might not be sure if it’s the same car.
At the last second, I go left, but I’m going too fast and turning too hard, and I lose control of the car. I have no idea what happened then, but the next thing I know, my car has come to a stop, engine stalled out, and I’m facing back up the way I came. Heart racing, I try to start the engine before the cop shows up. It starts, and I start driving up. There’s the cop, driving down the hill past me. I can see him hesitate a second, and then keep on going.
More adventure than seeing how fast a car can go is worth.
