The exact line is: Bawitdaba da bang a dang diggy diggy diggy said the boogy said up jump the boogy.
What does it mean? Nothing really. But it does make a nice sound for the song, so that’s probably why he used it. Then again, the rest of the song doesn’t seem to make a whole lot of sense either. Maybe sense is simply something that Kid Rock does not make. I support that theory.
I had a secret theory in middle school that he meant to fill in with some lyrics later, kind of like how I’ll put in things in papers that say, ”TRANSITION HERE. SMOOTH ONE, TOO. NOT LIKE PEANUT BUTTER THOUGH.” Then he either got attached to it or forgot to change it.
I agree with everyone. It means, “I’m talentless, but I really want to be famous, so I’m going to make up something that I hope will turn into a catch phrase, therefore, people will think I’m talented and buy my records.” Unfortunately, people do buy his records, but he’s still completely talentless.
its a phrase used a bunch in hip hop/rap songs. kid rock used it, and so did korn i think…
first time (as far as i know) was rapper’s delight by sugar hill gang
i would also like to say that just because kid rock is not your cup of tea, doesn’t mean he isn’t talented. i got free tickets to see him live last fall and he was unbelievable. ..don’t get me wrong, i’m not gonna do something crazy like go out and buy an album, but i will say that he is very charismatic and puts on an incredible show. i’d go as far as to call him dynamic.
essieness wrote “talentless” and I read “taintless” and I began to wonder if there was anyone who was taintless. I it possible? No taint? Enlighten me Flutherites! Who are the Great Taintless amongst us? Shall we exalt them or pity them? Bring me your poor, tired and taintless….
